Oh yes they will. It is THEFT, which is a CRIME, along with FRAUD, which is also a CRIME! Both FELONIES in this country, if I am also not mistaken!
As long as Chickmagnet can prove he's out $250.00, that Jason Yoo has the money, and that Chickmagnet never received his merchandise.....the Police can go to Jason's door and pick him up for theft and fraud. He can insist on having him arrested!

O.k. You just need to let it go. For one thing, he got your money, and may have sold the exhaust to someone else for more money. You just don't know, and should just walk away from the merchandise. He may have also damaged it, since your initial transaction. And now that he surely knows you've been to the police, forget it. Just get the money back, and find another exhaust somewhere else. OR, if you insist on getting it, get the cops to go over and get it. They will hold it for you, and you can ask a board member to pick it up.
My thinking, is the exhaust doesn't exist anymore, or is damaged goods and you don't want that!

LOL, yeah +1 screw the exhaust. Just get your money back.
You should also contact your postmaster general. Since you sent your payment thru the mail, this may be considered mail fraud, in which case you would have a federal case as well. which is a more serious crime than a $250 theft (I think $250 still goes to small claims court).
Sorry this happened to you, when ever I buy or sell if something smells fishy I will back out immediately or go through extra steps (like using an escrow service) to make sure I get my stuff/money. This should have been your first clue:
"s.... do you have a email.. ill email you the pics.... " he asked you that RIGHT after you sent him your email address! He obviously didn't care enough to read what you wrote. He also had a habit of not answering your questions. Right there I would have been like "see ya." Even if he would have sent the goods, just the amount of aggrivation you need to go thru just isn't worth it IMHO, no matter how much of a good deal you are getting.
Anyways, good luck and keep us updated.
