How bout change the meet and have everyone meet at the Irwindale drag strip? lots of parking make it a Z G day there on thursday

 

why would you go to the drag strip, thats boring, go to the actualy track and watch drifting.

?????????? this was just a thing for everyone to participate in and or show cars. to be honest with you im sure we can do a track to watch roadracing and or drifting but for the time period nothing like that is going on unless the drif is going on at irwindale thursday on the oval. btw its not boreing for everyone =)

 

I'm all for a meet at Irwindale. Much closer for me and less traffic to get there.

Maybe with some notice next time, I am in for an event such as the Drifting but we are going to CHINO.. -)

I did not see any posts on the drifting Thursday until someone hijacked this thread, was it posted somewhere? Of course I just see the first few in the Socal regional area...

Final update for our OC meeting place: Meet at Irvine Spectrum in the back parking lot near the new Target store. I will try to be there by 5:45. We will depart by 6:00 and head N up the 241 toll road to the 91 E to the 71 N. From there, someone else better know where we are going! =-)

You will head about 8 miles north on 71 frwy, exit Grand Ave, turn left. Go 2 signals, chillis lot is right there. Everyone meets in between henrys and chillis.

 

NOTES:
**People driving toll road from irvine, make sure you have cash to pay ($7 tops) for it. It is 2 stops from Irvine to chino hills.

**Please NO burning out, reving, or speeding in the lot. Be respectful. Chino Hills cops would love to give you a ticket as they dont have anything else to do. However thus far with the meets, they are pretty cool just so long as no one does any of the above.

BTW i just got word 3 more Zs are coming (via PM). Should be a great turnout. See ya all tonight.
