You need a helmet 13.99 and faster
Fastest I've run NA at cali speedway was 14.00 usually stock Z's run around 14.4 there.
My fastest FI run was 12.100 I'm hoping to finally hit 11's this weekend but with the heat it probably won't happen

picture 400 cars starting at 9 am usually quite a few break down, expecially the domestics by noon you probably have 1 run....maybe 2 if things go really well
you get a number assigned that places you into a group usually they have 4 groups a,b,c,d 100 cars each, once 1 group is done the next one goes and that process repeats
As long as your helmets have the gold Snell sticker inside the where the padding is at, you guys should be ok.
Also, I think they moved it up to Snell 2000. Someone might want to double check.... I remember last year the guy who does the car inspection was telling me this will be in effect for the 06 season... but I never saw anything in writting.

Vortech Kit if you hook up well you should be in the 13's hence helmet is needed

Holy Crap it was hot!!!
I left after 4 runs, it was too frustrating, my best run was a 12.7....HORRIBLE it should have been a 11.9 I was almost 1 second slower than usual, I've never sweat so much in my life.
Thank god for Gargoyle who brought an easy up, big *** ice chest filled with lots of water.
I"m defintely not going back tomorrow.
The launch pad is horrific, I could only manage 2.0 60's (I average 1.7's) the rest of the track hooks pretty well though. Once temprature goes down this will be a good track.
I saw several other z's but they were all over the place. hope some of you made it and had some fun at least, next time come and say hi

Wow!!!!!!!!!! 4 runs??? and still chance for more? I stand corrected.
I thought for sure everyone and their mom would be there, hence make it impossible to get soo many runs. Well, cant go anyway, maybe next time.

All 4 runs were done by 3:00pm. For the next 2 hours they allowed anyone to run the track as many times you wanted. Given todays heat, I highly doubt you will see alot of cars on Sunday.
