The best body shop is in El Monte, but it's not M1. Check out Expo Autobody. Quality people who do a quality job. I've had my car done at M1 and it did NOT come out well at all. They refused to make it better. Expo will slave over the car to make things right. They will out right refuse to work on your car if they know they cannot repair it to their high standards.

Call and ask for Vu.

That just didn't sound right...
First of all, if you read through the old posts, spf4000 clearly had a horrible experience at M1.
"go to M1 Autobody".... eh? Because your relatives own the place? So you're basically trying to tell us that M1 is a good shop cuz your relatives own it? Tell them Emily's cousin Steve referred M1..? LOL
Does M1 have contracts with their friends/family to pay like $100 per victim sent by em?
If it's really your family's business, you must have zero respect for them. Your approach should be trying to fix the problem. Maybe ask spf4000 if the problems were finally resolved, or if you can be of any help in effort to make up for his horrible previous experience. Offer to speak to your so called "relatives" yourself and maybe ask them to do something to compensate.
These actions would help in improving M1's reputation and should have been obvious if you were even a bit concerned about your "relatives".

Honestly, it really just seems like you saw an opportunity to sell yourself for your own benefits so you jumped on it. You probably don't give a shlt if they lose customers or not. In any case, even if we do tell em "Emily's cousin Steve" referred us to M1, I bet the difference in the level of quality won't even be better by 1%. If anything, they'll most likely be hooking you up better next time you come in.

Andy@performance's reply somewhere in this thread sounds MUCH more like how a "cousin" should have been like. Andy even offered to talk to the shop directly himself if anyone had issues with the shop and needed some assistance.

Your reply just made me think even worse of M1.
Oh well... not like I would go there in the first place tho.
I've seen M1's work and it didn't impress me at all. Their prices were very high as well.

On the other hand, I've heard good things about Sixteen Customs. I've also seen their work and compared to M1's work and the difference in quality is there for sure. However, Sixteen is not a cheap/bargain deal kind of shop. Nowhere near that category. But hey, you do get what you pay for so if you got the money for the top quality stuff, Sixteen Customs will serve you just right.
