make sure you post all the details so the cops can stick it out and wait for everyone. Its not always good to post these things on public forums.

Do you have any evidence to support this claim?

I'm down. It's best not to post routes or maps however. The fuzz actually read the boards. I didn't believe it at first, but sadly have some firsthand experience of this.

I've gone on a ton of canyon runs this summer, but rarely do any 350Zs come out. From the runs I've put together, there is usually maybe five or so from this forum, who choose to show up. Since someone else is organizing, hopefully we can get a good turnout.

I went on a S2Ki run on July 4th through angeles crest. We met around 8am or so, and to our surprise, there were cops hiding out by the parking lot.

On a malibu run with the M3 guys a few weeks ago, a CHP officer was friendly enough to escort us the length of mulholland. Some 20-30 minutes. He even parked with us.

The fact that the times, locations and routes of these runs were posted online were a contributing factor in both cases. Hopefully we don't have any trouble, but it's best to just post a meet point and time.

+1 and the run you just described is mostly known to just the locals and friends, don't want the place getting burned.
in the last couple of month's it's been getting a lot of attention.

Don’t take this as a personal attack but…

Please don't publicly advertise touge runs or locations... there are many legitimate reasons why it can adversely affect everyone...

have fun and be safe!

why does everyone assume there is going to be a bunch of illegal activity going on in these runs/cruises/whatever-

why cant there be an organized run where we just drive some windy roads?

No need to be a passenger, just drive your car bro. Not sure if I've seen you on some of those m3 runs, but I was the driver of the imola/imola ZCP.

I'm down for a run through those twisties. Cops shouldn't be a problem if we take it easy. No need to attempt Tokyo Drift or anything, just a nice drive with nice scenery and nice company.

So is this going to happen. Let's set a day and time. I say we do it on a saturday, the sooner the better. Also earlier in the day would be best to avoid traffic and popo.

So is this not going to happen. A canyon run or some type of cruise is just so much more enjoyable compared to a parking lot meet. I don't know why people don't come out.
