Well, I think it was done in Ktown this past Saturday night. I left the car there, parked in front of The Pointe, because I carpooled in a friend's car to a club out in Hollywood. When I got back to the car, someone had SPIT on the car's driver-side window. I circled my Z a couple times and didn't notice any scratches... so I thought "Whew, what a relief..."

But I found 2 nails... each in the rear tires. My dealership said I'll have to get new tires, since the nails are on the side-edge of the tire, and thus cannot be patched up. They gave me a quote of $540 for 2 rear tires. I am thinking of either buying someone's 18" wheels with tires (save money) or just going 19" aftermarket wheels at this point.

If I get the 18" performance or track wheels, I will definately powder-coat them dark dark grey...

Sucks like a mother!!!

Why would anybody wants to do that to other's properties?
BullishZ, I feel for ya..I will make sure I am not going to take me Z to K-town. Should we install the video camera, so we can catch those f***ers?
Damn.

F***EN HATERS!

Hey Bullish,

Sorry to hear about the damage - I think you may now have overtaken me for "most vandalized 350z in Southern California". Not a prize any of us want, for sure. Glad to hear you're looking on the bright side - in the end you were going to have to upgrade those rear tires anyways, right?

If anyone is interested, I'll probably still go to BJ's with my girlfriend just to hang out, grab a couple drinks & some food & watch the game (this place is all ages, right?). I'm not sure if I'm going to take my car or let my gf drive hers (designated driver). So if anyone else is interested, I'll be there. Bullish, if you can make it out maybe in another car or bring some buddies or something, that'd be cool.

Anyways, once again, really sorry bout the damage. Also, I'm gonna nominate the "powdercoating" idea, I think that'd look bitchin, just make sure you get them coated glossy so they don't look dirty when they're actually clean (I had powdercoated black rims on my z32 w/15% gloss, which was just barely enough - if I were going to do it again I'd go 25% gloss).

Good luck. See y'all later!

My Z got a little love from a shopping cart at costco. Not nearly as shitty as having to replace both your tires, but still not fun. I still haven't gotten it fixed. There's a small dent, and a swatch of really shallow scrathes about teh size of my hand. Happened a week after I got the car. On the good side, it did make me much less paranoid about leaving my car. Busted the cherry.

Ok guys, here is an update on my situation...

I got the new 18" performance wheels on my car BEFORE powder-coating job, since I needed to take the car into the dealership.

I'm taking care of some rattling noises and the passenger window creaks when it's lowered.

I should have my car back by tomorrow, so how about our meeting at the end of this week?

I want to do this soon, but don't know when we can do it. Since you and I are both going to "Iris' hubby outta town" meet, we can't meet this weekend. Next weekend is my Mazda Rev It Up thing... so how about the following week?

That would be anytime in the weekend of 4/18 - 20th. Does that work with yalls?
