I would like to have a meeting of some sort... Anything from drinking, or just having a meal together. Would be cool to meet and set some standards or criterias for our Team...

I am thinking maybe 3/9/03 for the meeting... That's this coming Sunday. Since this is the FIRST meeting, I was thinking that the members that don't show up will have to apply for the team again.

Too short notice! I'm gonna be in San Diego for the Mt. Palomar run on the 8th, plus I have a friend from High School in town so I'm gonna be in SD all weekend. The following weekend works fine for me though (14th-16th). Where were you thinking we would meet? What time?

I agree with DCzoner...the weekend of the 14th-16th...but dont know if sunday would be good...I have work early on monday, so would rather do it on saturday preferably.

If we meet Friday, I want it to be a meet and dinner at around 5pm and 6pm dinner.

Saturday, we can make it a lunch.

Sunday, anytime is GRAVY fo me.

I'm pretty open, so any time, and place should be fine for me. Just give me an address, so I can get driving directions to get there.

I think Friday evening would be pretty cool, we could make it a week-is-over lets have some dinner & drinks sorta deal.

Also, I want everyone to come up with ideas for sponsors! Think of companies, any companies that might want to sponsor an all 350Z team. I'm not saying that we're all gonna slap stickers on our cars, but perhaps we could get some corporate sponsors & special deals on products for when we go out & do shows or public events like drags or auto-x. Then we can start writing letters to these companies, and that way we also begin to be more "official"... Just a thought.

Anyways, like I said, my best bet would be Friday evening. Second spot would be Sunday evening. Third would be Saturday (not a lunch tho - it gets ya right in the middle of the day, and people might want to make plans for doing all-day things on Sat.)

Friday would be bad, unless it was at like 9 p.m. or later even. I wouldn't want to have to drive all the way to OC anywhere near rush our. Rush hour finally settles down between 7 and 8. Weekends are best for me. (I know I said any time, and any place, but I meant weekends

I am on vacation but I will be driving to s.f. to visit my parents over the weekend. aigo~~~~~

I thought of that, but isn't parking a lil tougher to find there? The Block should have more room.

Sunday sounds good...maybe in the daytime, but def. not in the morning. ESPN zone, the block, sounds all good to me. One thing that I did hear from some younger (teenage) cousins I have: the Block is notorious for people who polish up their car-keying skills.

 

Yeah...that's what I heard, too.
Our new Z's will be tasteful targets for them.

 

Well fellas... here is an update.

My best friend from back in my Berkeley days is flying in from Seattle on Saturday afternoon. He will be staying a week, and I'll be entertaining him in LA...

So Friday, 3/14/03 would be the BEST! Or we can push it out to Sunday, 3/23/03.

Time: 3/14 or 3/23
Place: ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney
Time: if 3/14 anytime from 6pm on... if 3/23 anytime before 8pm
What to do: First meeting so we'll socialize, and set some goals and plan out our club.
What to bring: All the hot women you can fit in your Z... but really, bring some good ideas (ANY!) and bring about $20 or so for drinks/food. If you wanna drink more, bring more money!

Tell me which date works better for you guys.

 

Ugh, the 23rd is the latigo canyon run, and there's no way I can make it down by 6 on a friday. I don't even generally get out of work until around 7 (which isn't too big a problem getting out earlier, but trying to get there at 7, I'd have to leave at like 5 or 5:30, which just isn't doable.

 

The 14th sounds good to me
