That hood is awful.

Doesn't sound like I'm going miss anything with my 06.

I'd have to bet that this close to release, that will be the final look of the production car. Don't expect any changes to the hood.

Get some interior shots especially the tach. See if it has the HR motor and if the redline is set at 7500. Also I agree with everyone, that hood is fugly. I dont know what Nissan is doing. Since 05, they are making the Z uglier. Also that carbon silver doesnt look anywhere as good as silverstone does.

Should've made the hood look similar to the Do-Luck hood if they wanted to make it bulge out like that IMO. Seems a bit boxy looking. I'm interested in seeing the new colors & what's under the engine bay. Would that be the new Carbon Silver pictured above? I hope not since it looks too close to SS. Might as well made it a smoke color which Nissan offers. I don't understand why Nissan made similar colors to begin with such as Liquid Aluminum vs. Chrome Silver & Interlagos Fire vs. Brickyard. Could the new colors be San Marino Blue vs. Daytona Blue, Solar Orange vs. LeMans Sunset, & Carbon Silver vs. Silverstone?

BTW...clean ride KanGuru. Vertex Army Rules! LOL.

So just the hood?

I'm not sure the hood is a positive change, but it's not that bad. Definitely have to see it in person to make a final opinion. With all the engine mods and extra power, the '07 will be another step ahead, regardless of the hood.

Remember all the threads about the bi-xenon headlights and how people hated the look. Well the bi-xenons are better, plain and simple. And I think it's a non-issue with most everyone now. People are against change and need time to adjust. With time, I see the hood being well received and people looking to retrofit their 03-06 Zs with the '07 hood.
