im lookin at a samsung 42" 1080p lcd model number 42LBX. let me get your input on it guys! one thing is that it doesn't have PIP, don't know if i'd really need that or not.

the difference in price is $163.
should i just shell out the extra 163 and get the 47"? the only problem is it will no longer fit on my shelf and needs to be mounted somewhere else

Myself, I'm looking at either a 56" or 61" Samsung LED Engine DLP. Prices on LCDs get too high for those sizes and I won't go plasma because of ma video games. I've got an older Samsung DLP and have been pretty happy with it. the new LED DLPs are brighter and have a higher contrast ratio, so I should be happy with one of these.

alright then, im going with the 47"! how do you feel about the lack of PIP though? do you really think its necessary?
i've got a hook up on LG products but its a one time thing (at least for now). the final price for the 47" for me would be ~50% off retail price.
