I want that V2 catch can! I doubt I'll get it though. I need to save my money so I can get my wheel repaired, my body kit and engine cover painted, and gets air diversion panel from DME (*cough* Ben *cough*).

Time to get the car prepped for the track and HIN.

When are you getting your kit completed?

We should definitely hit up the track. I talked to Cheston and Anthony and they're down to go with us. It'll be good to have those experienced ones go with us.

It should be painted and on the car car by the end of February. Hopefully sooner.

Other then still needing a helmet, I'm all set for the track. My car should be going back to techosquare on Monday and when I get it back about 12 days later I'll have it tuned with HFCs on and will be ready to go. The only other downtime I'll have is for bodykit fittment and painting.

With 54k miles on it. I think I'm going to just wait for my Quiafe. I'll be okay with an open diff for grip racing for now.

btw this is just in the air, doug brought up to me that he wanted to enter HIN in the end of March... im really considering it even though im not big on shows, exposure, meeting possible sponsors & hanging with some other industry friends is always a + for me... even though i know winning is very slim if i can get tires by then i might really consider it.... so just giving you guys a heads up if ever just as friends... to me HIN and like Nisei or Chinatown is probably the more funner shows to attend... to actually win there are easier shows such as Extreme Autofest where politics are still involved but not as hectic as other shows....

just to throw it out there we can always just go as a group of buddies, park together and get wasted smuggling alcohol... up to you guys

I mentioned this to Ben that I would like to see some sort of Boneout showing at HIN this year. Last year the Z showing was pretty poor and our cars are a lot nicer then what I saw there.

I'm definitely singing up. Registration should be opening soon and I believe its $50 or $60, but space fills up quickly so start thinking about it. The exact date is March 22, but your car needs to be dropped off the day before (especially if you want the group together).
