I'm thinking about painting my CF hood to match bodycolor but extreamly light so that you can still see the CF weaving if you get up close. Any opinions?

in japan we always paint the carbon hood because it looks better and it wieghs nothing

Yea here in the states ppl buy carbon more for looks. Like most show cars. Plus with the Z the stock hood is light enough that a carbon hood is really more for looks unless you really need to save those 4 pounds or spend a lot of money on a dry carbon hood and save 10 pounds.
