Hello GReddy Enthusiast,
Thank you again for participating in our GReddy Performance Festival.
The event is about a week away, so to prepare, here is some details to know:
Please arrive at 7:15am, Saturday Feb. 23rd.
The El Toro Airfield entrance is at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Marine Way, in the City of Irvine.
At the 1st Police check-in gate (Gate 9,) tell them you are here for the GReddy Driving Event, then follow the signs to the 2nd GReddy Check in Tent. (be sure to keep your speed down to the 15mph speed limit, there will be Irvine Police ticketing speeders)
At the this gate, you will need to your Driver's License to check-in and receive your driver's package and GReddy Racing Gloves.
The staff there will then direct you to the Pit and Tech Inspection Area. Please tech your cars as soon as possible, so we can start promptly and get in as much driving as we can.
This will be your all day pit area. (Items left out are at your own risk.) But this area is a separate and away from the rest of the festival.
HELMET: The Drift Association will require SA95 and above helmets for Drifting. Autocross any type M or SA is allowed.
The Official Driver's Meeting will be at 8:45am at the TECH Inspection Area. (If you miss the meeting you will not be allowed to run.) Here they will go over the rules and courses.
There you will be broken in two 2 groups of 20 for Auto Cross or 2 groups of 20 for Drifting (according to what you signed up for) Each group will alternate run times every hour (except for a 1 hour lunch break)
Driving Courses should be open till 5:00pm
Enclosed below are the rules for a standard Drift Association Tech Inspection. Please read them over before you arrive at the event. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this info, you can contact us at greddyfest@greddy.com
