I got mine for $500 shipped. Is that $790 brand new though? If new then yes very good price. And take it to a shop to rearrange the discs to make it like 60% lock up or so because the nismo's come at $100. That bolt that you turn doesn't change lock-up just reaction time. With both set around 60% the nismo diff is like stock sound wise and with Motul 90pa you won't hear anything.

$790 shipped for new 1.5 way nismo is VERY good. thats only IF it's new.

i think 1.5 way would be a better setup for grip.

if it was drifting 2way is the way to go..

That bolt is was sets it to 60%, 80% and 100%. But that isn't lock-up just reaction time. The only way to change lock-up is to rearrange the disc's inside the diff itself. Its a lot of work.

yea i know to change the lock-up requires opening everything up which is a b!tch. but that bolt, i want to try changing it see if there's any difference in driving. it could be a deciding factor in whether or not i sell my diff.

If you are annoyed now it just gets worse the higher is goes. It will react quicker and catch and make more noise. I first had it at 100% and my god I was ready to take it out right then until Precision set it to 60% but still wasn't all that better.

You really don't want a 2way for track or autox though. The car becomes predictable but will get you in a slide much easier since both wheels are traveling at the same speed. 1.5 Clutch like the Nismo, and carbonetics, Gear type like the Quaife, and the VLSD are the best for track. 2-ways are more drift spec cars.
