those Bose headunit work with Non Bose?

Default does Bose headunit work with Non Bose?

hey guys just a quick question.
I have non bose head unit. i was wondering if i get bose head unit, is it plug and play?
they plugs looks the same as non bose and bose
and if not what do i need to do to make it work

NM.. i used the "SEARCH" botton. and found out its not direct plug and play.. =(

but that "SEARCH" is powerful force!!! =P

It is not plug & play but it could be done. I followed Frankmusic's set-up below & also upgraded it to Sirius digital:

Just be careful if you purchase one. It needs to be shipped with the CD lock (white plastic on top) or else the 6CD player will be jarred in shipment & will break.

oh nice~ thank you sooooo much~!!! you the man
but his directions were about connecting subs with speaker out put. which i've already done that..

what did you all need to make the bose work? i hear that you need an amp to run the speakers. is that it?
or do you need another special wiring??
