I'm going to be in the process of recieving a Utec and Nitrous system with it's suppporting mods in a couple of days. I need to find a good tuner in the southern cal area...preferably in the San Diego or Los Angeles area who can tune my Utec that will come with a switch for an N/A and 100 shot map. Anyone know of a reputable place with a decent price tag to go along with it?
check out shawn church, church automotive testing.....
he's a good tuner, and he can figure out your tuning needs, for sure...
more expensive would be sam @ GT motorsports, but also one of the best tuners around...

Tim at Speed Force Racing has tuned UTEC's. He's in San Diego and he's really good at working around your budget. www.speedforceracing.com

Brilliant ...guy i already did a search and all threads are the same thing, referancing church and sam@gt. another shop or two were mentioned with ****y reviews though.
Wired was cool answering my question, but i'm not the type to call it a day after one suggestion you know?
Thanks for your input though, and if you can dont be so quick to just assume people are lazy and dont use the search...i would rather just get this over with and find a place to tune the car instead of bumping my **** every day

Hmm maybe i'm looking for more than 2 options, you know kind of like shopping around. Now lie to me and tell me you've never done that? Tech seriously your not helping my cause...besides i think i made my decision already so go reply at some other thread and be helpful somewhere else dude
Maybe you should keep your car stock. Anyone who would "shop around" for a tuner, deserves what they get. Obviously you are looking for the cheapest place and not the best place. If you were looking for the best place, you wouldn't be "shopping around", you'd be going to the best places which were already mentioned above.

^^ like i've said before i already made my choice, just have to wait for the mail man to bring me my goodies. I shopped around because it's not like i know a reputable place from the get go....so i look for names and then i find out the rep, sounds easy and fair enough to me.
Tech you're assuming i'm just looking for price and not the best, but i'm looking for 3 or 4 "best places" to pick from those, it makes perfect sense. When you shop for a TT kit...you look at the JWT TT, APS TT, Greddy TT PE TT etc... You're not going to start a thread as a noob to turbo kits and buy a PE TT kit because one dude says ..." you should get a JWT TT it's awesome". Although you will consider their advice and put it up as a candidate you're not going to say mission accomplished and buy the kit the next minute without at least asking about 1 or 2 more?
Price is important to everyone, but just as important to me is the distance and how far i'm willing to drive to get my car tuned
