For those of you who haven't read this thread yet, note a major transition:

Jeff, as we all know, made Performance Nissan the place for 350Z owners in Southern California and for owners nationwide. His impact on Z owners from for the last four years has been nothing short of spectacular. No one has provided us with better value parts or service. Performance Nissan's parts department was the nationwide #1 distributor of parts and it is due to Jeff and his team's efforts. Aside from always taking care of forum members personally, Jeff, Jenny and the rest of the crew set up meets and came out to meets and runs. They are more than just vendors, they are our friends.

Over the years, Jeff has supported us and it's critical that we recognize the efforts he has made and that we in turn return our support. So, with that in mind, I think it's important for us to return our support for Jeff, Jenny and all the crew that transition from Performance Nissan to West Covina Nissan.

I understand the transition will take place in mid-January so sometime in February or March, I'll be setting up a Mt. Baldy/Angeles Crest run that starts from West Covina Nissan. The ride will cover Hwy 39 to the 210, 138 cover Angeles Crest through Hwy 2 and will include a stop at Newcombs for a late lunch.

Details on the ride will be posted on another thread and this will let us kick-off the new year with a run many of us have not yet done before and will give us an opportunity to welcome Jeff, Jenny and crew to West Covina Nissan. Please plan on coming out!

Directions 10W - 605N - 210E to 39N. We'll take the 39 make the left where it forks towards Mt. Baldy. Then 210E to 15N to 215N to 138W - 2W and turn left to Angeles Crest Hwy.

Oh and I vote for sunday.

Interesting route. There would seem to a lot of freeway driving after doing mt. baldy. I was expecting a typical angeles crest run, but variety is good.

I'll try to be visiting a campus out of state the 13th to the 18th if my wallet/mother allows me to. ( I gotta pay for plane ticket/transportation/ect.)

Yeah, I read that you're going to check out a college.

When I say spring break, I think of some tropical location like cancun, costa rica, hawaii or something like that.

Hey Dan, thanks for all the kind words. We will have to see what I can do for you guys. Maybe arrange a pancake breakfast at the dealer around 8:30 or something... I'll get it figured out by then. Jen and I will be starting construction on a West Covina Nissan Z soon, but since I'm supposed to get a GTR when they come out, I think I'm going to make a drift car out of the Z. In any case, we will be there and I can hardly wait to show all of you the new store!
