dude it for sure is....i got one buddy who got caught drifting up there...cops did a full on sting operation. about 15 cruisers and 5 motor units. impounded my buddies car, gave him a wreckless driving ticket and sent him on his way. every other car that had any type of infraction to the vehicle code was ticketed as well. they're not playing around anymore up there.....

The last 2 meet I attended was same it was like "My car is better than yours" type of meet. where Z owners just stands next to there cars

i agree with tech.

 

the guys from elite never showed. dan, you left just as ed pulled up. we didn't have as many cars as last time but hey you win some, you lose some.

 

i'm not trying to offend you in any way but i've noticed that on a lot of you're posts, you have lots of negative things to say. i know i'm a relative noob here but life is too short to be pessimistic. i've tried my best to spread the word but you can only get so many people on a a weekday meet.

 

I'm negative cause people always want to have meets, then no one shows.

 

if you would like more people to show up at the ones you attend, try and help spread the word.

i'm not doing this just to have a meet but to have a spot to go to where cops won't be an issue. it's not a random parking lot. it's a place for specifically for meets. it's well lit and gated with a place to eat. i talked to the manager and he said if you keep trying at it, it'll eventually get great turnouts like their friday hot rods nights. nobody is forcing you to go, it was your choice so please don't bash on other's efforts.

The place you have setup is nice, I'm not taking anything away from it. I didn't bash on other's efforts unless you are speaking of the fact that I don't like going out to meets where no one is there. I am fully aware that I wasn't forced to go.

 

i don't think anyone likes attending meets with few people. we'll just have to keep working on it. hopefully next month will be better.

 

don't worry guys, it will take a while. I know I don't have a 350z or anything, but I still like going to these meets where I can meet nice car enthusiasts(was very pleased with the reception I got from last months meet). This is a problem that a lot of car clubs face, many times people just don't have time to come, or aren't motivated to come, or for many other reasons. MCC on maxima.org has that issue as well, with me having more than my share of ticked off words about that. It will just take some time.
