+1

For a good laugh, head over to clubrsx.com. The people on that forum are absolutely dillusional about their cars. They firmly believe their Acura RSX is man's finest invention and god's ultimate creation. With just intake, header, exhaust and ECU, they spank on Porsche Turbos, Murcielagos, Enzos and Veyrons. LOL clubrsx.com ftw.

Z>RSX-S.
I haven't seen a Z getting beat yet by them.
The only way a RSX could keep up is w/ forced induction. You saw the last video up, even a one car jump isn't even enough for the Acura. The Z's power curve is too clean compared to the RSX.

I haven't raced an RSX, but I've panty slapped a couple of EVO's (not sure if they were VIII's or IX's becasue both were debadged, and no idea if they were modded or not) and I doubt an RSX would be any faster than an EVO.

run him and find out

the type-s with those mods are a lot quicker than most of you guys think, the k20 responds quite well to bolt-on's even in n/a form, and remember it's fwd so less drivetrain loss. the dc5 is also lighter...

that is true the RSX Type S can be pretty fast if done right, but stock to stock it would be kind of hard for the RSX.

Watch out. I was surprised by a white RSX one night that I'll never forget. I keep telling myself he must have been bored or something.

street racing is ****ing stupid, just be the bigger man and leave the subject alone whenever he talks about it. if you need to validate yourself against an rsx or any car for that matter, you have issues

I raced an RSX type S (he had atleast an exhaust) in my 1988 4WD turbo Celica from a roll (40 mph) and I was rather surprised that he stayed with me for about 1.5 seconds. I pulled away from him like he was parked though.

Funny thing was that moments later, the kid was completely cocky. [Not unlike many Hondaphiles, he probably has no idea what an All Trac Celica is...] Anyway, We had the next stoplight together and he was vehemently shaking his head and index finger at me while laughing, as if to say that it was a fluke or something. The light turned green and I proceeded to walk him like a crippled Chihuahua. We could have had another run at the next stoplight but he suddenly decided to make a u-turn and there was no more eye contact. Hmmm, what happend to all that machismo Mr. Confidence? I have nothing against Hondas (my brother's got an S2000) but that dude went from ultra-cocky to tail between his legs in no time flat.

I had to share.

^another example of knowing what you're going up against.

One reason why i don't like EVO drivers. They automatically think they're the sh...it and the best drivers out there. However, most STI owners aren't so much. They tend to lean more of the modest side.

Anywyas, this is based from day-to-day personal experience. Flame away if you must.
