Position: Aftermarket Sales Coordinator
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Description: Full time position in direct support to the Marketing Manager involving the sale of exhibit space to aftermarket, mobile electronics, specialty vehicle and other enthusiast-oriented exhibitors. Sales function will entail written, phone and personal interaction with clients, some at a marketing executive level. Confer w/ Marketing Manager to develop new sales strategies and materials. Will also assist with other event-related logistics, planning, follow-up and on-site execution. Some travel and weekend work will be required.
Requirements: Candidate should be a professional, self-motivated candidate with 2-3 years of successful sales experience in the automotive aftermarket. A BA/BS, event planning experience, and an enthusiasm for the automobile are a big plus. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Should have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. A positive attitude and flexibility are a must.
Compensation: Salary dependent upon experience.
