Default Shift **** and boots with AUT Design Eyelids

I got my momo shift **** and boots installed today and got my AUT eyelids from Darren at Intense Motorsports. I will post some pictures of it tomorrow tell me what you guys think please =). And where can I get some double sided tape for my eyelids? I'm looking for some 3M double sided tape. And do I have to like prepare the headlights for the eyelids somehow? I heard I had to rub some alchol on the headlights or something not sure exactly. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

you can purchase 3M at any auto parts store, wallmart, target, homedepo, etc.

alcohol will cleanse the plastic, and I will recommend a fine grit sandpaper as well; sand down the area before you apply 3m. (sand the eyelid, not your headlights)

so I just get some alcohol and rub it on the headlight after I clean it. Than get some fine grade sandpaper and clean the bottom of the eyelids. Than clean the eyelids, than apply the 3M tape to the eyelids than install it on the car right?

Be careful which 3M tape you use. They have a ton of different varieties out there. I have never found their high quality stuff at any local auto parts place. I order my 3M tape from my bodyshop. That is what I have on my AUT CF eyelids.

It's still 3M. I'd have to get the model number. It costs me $55 / roll.

The tape itself is dark gray. Not sure about it being super thin. You can order all sorts of widths though.

The one that I got TECH was 3M also but it was red. Its called Molding tape. I asked Darren from Intense motorsports about the tape and he said I can use this one to install the eyelids.

SORRY GUYS STILL HAVEN'T isntalled the eyelids yet, I will take pictures of the momo shift **** and boot though tonight and post it up later. I can just lay the eyelids down and take it to show you guys how it will look like if you want XD. Couldn't put it on cause no time to wash the car and the headlights. WILL DO IT TOMORROW!!! I PROMISE!

Thanks!!

I'm considering going to the Greddy thing if there are enough people going. Since Greddy doesn't stock well most of the time, I'm not worried about getting parts.

Yes, it is the genuine Nismo V2.
