Default Must-Parties in LA & OC

I think we should get another list with the best Bar / Club / Lounge 's of Southern California, including:

drink pricing / atmosphere / parking / hours (not just open hours but when the place actually gets poppin) / cover charge / special reasons to scope it out

For instance :

Mum's in Long Beach (Pine Ave 1 block up from ocean)
Dinner downstairs - casual asian/american flavor, a little expensive but upscale trendy atmosphere, Dancing upstairs - club entry free with dinner, generally late 20's-mid30's crowd, reasonable drink pricing, parking is valet or a few lots in the area that are about $10. Club starts going off around 10pm fri & sat, stays pretty up till around 1am. Cool feature - a cigar lounge attached as well. They're also located right next to a few other places (all Pine Ave Long Beach), including Hooters, Rock Bottom is a block away, sushi/karaoke club next door, jazz/blues club is a block away, also a couple other smaller club restaurants right on the strip. Movie theaters as well.

haha dc, I like your new title! anyway, I am not cool enough to add many, but the Sunset Room was pretty cool. House/alternative in the outside patio (smoking), a restaurant and bar area, and a hip hop room which isn't too hot or crowded and has booths around the walls. I think it's normally a $20 cover? Parking's a ***** of course - we got a good deal last night - our own empty garage, self parking, $15.

Chillers in Redondo Beach is a mellow place to hang out on Saturday nites. Depending on how many people want to show up I can get us put on the list. But there have to be a decent number of women which need to come. An all dudes list any going to cut it. Iris bring your hubby and everyone else try to bring some chicas.

This place is hip hop inside and house or whatever outside.

And it's close to my house

It's also got no air circulation inside on the dance floor. It's unbelievably hot in there.

They are in the process of remodelling the place. But Maverick the head bouncer will open the deck doors when it get hot.

Sangria in Hermosa is pretty sweet. Long lines though if you get there late. I've heard that you can get people in by giving the bouncers an extra $20 per person. I don't really remember how spendy the drinks were, and we took a cab, so I'm not sure about parking either.

Other places I go to a lot are Q's and Renae's both on wilshire in the west LA / Santa Monica area. Drinks are average priced. Street parking in both places, but there are almost always spots available right nearby.

All these places are pretty chill before 10-ish, but get packed from then on. Renae's is not usually REALLY packed though.

Spundae in Hollywood has a very relaxed/friendly atmospher. Parking ranges from 4-10 dollars. Entry is $25 and they have a feature DJ spining house/trance.
Very diverse and friendly crowd.
