OK, so now I'm jealous.. I think we should now have another night out , but how about this time in Downtown San Diego, like at the W or on Broadway. Of course these are the only places I know because these are the only places I've been.So, if anyone has a better place and/or idea , please make suggestions.. Now , for those of you that read my last post, I'm the disgruntled New Yorker that recently posted the " Fu@!ing hate it here" post. So, I would like a volunteer from San Diego or wherever to arrange this Z Meet/night out, because so far, my Z is the only thing that brings me joy. So, why not hang out w/ other Z people . So, What do ya think, I was thinking maybe this weekend coming up..

 

Great idea...but, here's the catch: Gaslamp is the last place in all of SD that you want your Z to be on a busy night. I guess we could all show up w/ our beaters...

Either way, I agree about a "SD night" of some sort.

We might want to move this thread into the socal section as well...our targeted demographic.

 

I might be interested, depending.... The next 3 weekends are hard though (personal reasons the next 2 and SEMA the 3rd), but please don't plan anything around LA people

 

Yeah, gaslamp is not very parkable.

But if the party has to be in LA, please try making it Saturday so traffic isn't such a limiting factor.

 

Yes we should definitely do a San Diego night out. I think "W" would be cool but we would have to get in there early cause the line gets really long. Can a mod move this thread to the socal forum...please.

 

Cool, I'm down too, but what's the "W"? I have been here for 3 yrs. and "thought" I had hit up every club downtown in my party days, guess not....

THe "W" is a hotel that has a dope rooftop that has a bar and is basically like a beach, with heated sand, firepits, cabanas...ON THE ROOF!!!

 

Import- I assume you've been? I've only heard about it. Must be tough getting in on a fri/sat night I imagine.

 

I'm down for a thing in San Diego... I will be in town with friends on April 25th-27th..

Then busting my *** back up to LA for SEMA on Sunday.

 

Pacific Beach! My vote is for PB! Either PB Bar & Grille (why, becuz they have the outdoor smoking, dance floor, pool, 2 bars, no cover ever), or Typhoon Saloon - a little more crowded but good music. Or Moondoggies! Plus if its just too outta control you can always head over to Joe's for a regular bar & free pool.

I don't really like Longboards, its too rustic - makes me feel like I'm at Black Angus. Oh, for all-ages (18+ at least) theres the Hukkah place, I think its called Sinbads. . .

Yeah, after meeting a lot of you guys on the Palomar runs, etc, I'd love to grab some beers with ya! Party it up!

 

Actually, I went there last Saturday for the first time, after the Latigo run, for a friends B-day. We got there around 10pm and the line was insane. If we do go to "W" I might end up staying at the hotel that night cause guests get in free I believe and then I can get as toasted as I want too.

 

I'm there too. But, parking our Z's in PB or downtown raises some concern.

 

How's the 19th of April sound? 'Bout 11 days from today? I don't have to work that Sunday, that's why I suggested it, but it doesn't matter to me.... We can do it any day,I can go in half drunk

 

Now I do not know how many of you there would be BUT....


my GOOD friend runs ON BROADWAY downtown. If I had an exact head count, and there was a fairly even girl/guy ratio I could get us all FRONT OF THE LINE privledges. Not even VIP line, its walk up and walk in, regardless of how many VIP's are waiting.

Possibly no cover or reduced cover as well but I cannot make any promises on that because I do not have a head count. The more people the harder it would be. I can call him and find out how much. When I have taken more than 10 people in the past he has sometimes let us ALL in for free and then sometimes it is 2 for 1 cover. (pay for 1 and 2 get in)
