My wife ran yesterday, her 2nd time doing the LA event. She said it was a great run, the new course starting at Universal Studios was really nice and it was a beautiful day.

26 miles is too long.. I'd want to take a power nap, after 5 miles.

I did it. 4 hours 10 mins.

I am done. No more. (Did the Las Vegas Marathon in December; piece of cake compared to this hot sum of a beep.)

I ran the Portland Marathon in 04 and 05. I'm done running for a while.

This looked like a tough course especially with the warm weather.

there was some crazy dude that they were interviewing on the news (while he was running)

... he talked about training for some 130 mile race that starts from death valley and ends up at a pretty high altitude (somewhere in the mountains). I guess a marathon is just like a typical morning jog for the guy.

I've never been able to run much... I have the wrong body type and it kills my shins and knees...

swimming is the sport for me

I ran the Long Beach Marathon back in the mid 1980's. Still run, but at most 3 miles two or three times a week. Nowadays I drive my Z mostly!!!!!!
