Default What happen to Performance nissan?

Well i ordered some tanabe springs from perf nissan about 3 months ago and, long story short, i just got them yesterday after driving 2 hours (in traffic) to pick them up.

I originally ordered them in person, when i was getting my axles fixed, from jason and he promised me they would be at my house in 2-3 business days. After 60+ calls and being transfered 10,000 times, Andy was finally able to do something for me (props to Andy!)

Overall i was very disappointed with the service i recieved. If didnt call that many times i would have never got my springs.

So... next time i need parts or labor done i know where im going, West Covina Nissan!

that sux man.. I went to upgrade my brakes to stoptech few months back, but they didn't have the rotors in stock like they said they did over the phone.. drove an hours back home with super squeaky brakes ... they were very friendly, at least.. and they did an awesome job at installing my pulleys. They were very quick with service, as well. I'd definitely go back.

And I though this type of situation with Performance Nissan only happens to out of state customers....ie..me Andy was quick with my second order..but the first one took nearly 4 months and I never got it. Ended up canceling.

I here ya! However, in Andy's defense, my part is being held by the supplier. It seems that they decided to take the orders and payment for their parts, then chose to move their shop ( I ordered on 12/6/06 & still waiting) I could have paid for the hood pins with the interest I would have made.

Sorry to hear about waiting so long for your springs. But it could be possible that the manufactuer ran out of stock and had to wait for a shipment from Japan. It sucks but it does happen more often than you think especially with Japanese stuff.

Most dealerships react quickly when they see you lighting a molotov cocktail in their parking lot.

Frank, the main reason why your springs took so long to get to you is because you ordered them through Jason when he was a service writer. Jason had asked me to order springs but didnt mention who it was for or where it was going. I apologize for the delay though, usually parts should be ordered through the parts department and that shouldve been explained. Hopefully this experience didnt discourage you and if you decide to come back, Ill make it worth your while.

There's always two sides to every story. Glad to see Andy explain it from Perf Nissan's side.

I have to say, I have only ordered one thing from them a long time ago, but I had an issue with my rims (that I didn't purchase from them) and Andy was really helpful in trying to diagnose the issue and using his connections to get good answers for me.

yes i do agree you have patience and at peace my friend. haha i join you in that catagory

but you can find springs anywhere. if not at that shop then definately at another shop for sure. theres no need to wait more than a day for springs.
