Any luck? Have u tried the dealer? What sort of prices are you looking at for the fronts? Also, what gave you the flat?

Take care, good luck.

Default fixed

I originally thought that the inside wall was punctured. But after taking the tire off I found the hole on the tread. Unfortunately I don't know what caused it. So, I had it fixed at the local Firestone/Bridgestone dealer.

I did check around for the tire. pretty much all the major places I called had to order the tire. None had the tire in stock. I found that on Tire.com (Tire Rack) they had the same stock tire for $180 and I saw tire that ranged from 150 (Nitto V ratte) to 200+ (Michelin).

Thanks for the concren.

Just curious if anyone has tried putting on run flats like Dunlop, or Firestone. I believe Michellin and Bridgestone and others make run flats too, but I'm not sure if they would fit a wheel that wasn't specifically designed for that tire. Common sense would say, all else being the equal, a run flat must weigh more. On the other hand, driving even for a short distance on flats could ruin the rims.
