I went to Valley Hi Nissan for a service job for my family car (06' Altima SE) and was pleased with the service. My first trip there for car services and I must say, pretty good impression......so far that is.....

There's a new senior management team at Valley-High Nissan. They're working hard to change the image. Of course it won't happen overnight.

Got the wife a new Altima 35SL from them at Christmas time. It's the first new car I've bought that was totally prepped... unlike my G35 when I bought it.

So far I'm real happy with them as is the wife.

Getting the wife out of Hondas was a trick. The improved acceleration, handling and braking actually scared her at first. That's what she said.

As for comparing the performace of her 3.5 Altima SE against my old Type 1 G35 with mods that don't work ... well you already know the results.

FYI Mike. You wondered what would happen if the TBS was installed backwards. I tested it for about 500 miles. Suprisingly the bottom end power remained basically the same. The mid-range and upper end suffered. The gas mileage took a hit by about 4-5 MPG. Changed it back and drove 125 highway miles to Riverside and back at 75-85 MPH--got 25.78 MPG. Then I drove 250 miles to El Centro--50 stop & go--with the A/C on at 80-85 and got 24.81 MPG. I'm happy with the ECM's closed loop operation.

The Altima got 23.7 MPG average on the break in loop to Phoenix and back. Not bad for for a new car.

350z sighting.....I'm not sure if this Z owner lives up in the HD, but when I was coming home today going south (I15) and exiting Main Street, this black Z passed me with some wide 19" wheels. I didn't get a close look at it since I was turning into my street after crossing the over pass. Just wondering if you guys know this Z owner of if he's on this forum.

I was cruising with a black ferrari 360 modena on the way home from west covina on the 15. He did a flyby onto the 210 to 15 off-ramp. That thing sounded amazing!!! So wide and sexy... Anyways, just thought I would brag Looked like he was heading for vegas. oh and I almost forgot. I also seen an aston martin convertible just before I got on to bear valley road.

There is a guy that drives an Aston Martin in Victorville. Its silver, and GOD is it beautiful. I see him once or twice a week.
