Hey jon, what's the plan, you guys still meeting up tonight?

 

Everything is still a go for tonight, we'll be there at 7. Last I heard, the owner of the place is either making or buying pizza, lol, should be a good time. Hope to see you there.

Great meet even though we were outnumbered 5 Evos to our Zs jon, LOL! It's finally nice to meet the local guys, man you guys kept cracking me up. We should really get a High Desert meet with all the locals and Victorville guys, it wasn't he same without FinalForce and orangeflash! Let's make pick a date and place, we need more Zs in the mix!

 

Yeah, it was a pretty good time. We'll work something out, it seems like everyone was up for another one, so I'll talk to the guys.

 

Solid, set it up. Let me know when you guys from up there wanna come down.....more than likely it will be best on weekend evening times, since most of our group gets together around that time. You're now officially the Barstow spokesperson, lol

 

Nah I can't be the spokesperson, I barely know anyone around here, LOL, so it looks like jon is, given that he keeps posting. I can be the events manager? LOL.

So how about this upcoming weekend? What do you guys think, same time (6-7ish) and place (Smart and Final parking lot) and then maybe go cruising F&F style or grab a bite somewhere? LOL, I remember a couple of the Evo guys came down from Victoville. Yay or nay?

Btw jon, you think we should start up a thread about the 100 octane and post the location an pricing of it? Maybe Ed (the owner) would appreciate it, its the least we can do since he let us kick it at his gas station. Spread the word a bit to the whole SoCal Z community, what you think?

 

Yeah, I think making a new thread would be good to get the word out. As far as this weekend, I'll be out of town until the 29th, flying back to Delaware to spend the holidays with my family. I can talk to the other guys though if you want to do something this weekend.

 

So how much did you guys end up spending on gas? Did you all fill up? Any difference in low end torque or midrange power. How is the top end pulls?

How long is this gas station going to be carrying this 100 octane fuel? I know.....to many ?'s



About a meet this weekend, I will be out of town on Saturday and Sunday, but I will be here Friday night. How many fellas up in Barstow want to meet in Victorville? Friday night, 7pm at Smart & Final parking lot. Let's see how many cars can make it.

 

Me, I already had close to a full tank, but I'm not sure how much jon and the others pumped, maybe around 8 gallons in 100, then the rest 91. So they're pretty much running 93, jon can chime in about any differences, I think he said it idles better and something else. It's about $7.25 a gallon for 100 octane, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep selling it for as long as they stay in business.

I'm down to drive there Friday night, are you gonna be leaving by then jon?

Where's the rest of the HD guys at? It's only been finalforce, jondaspr, orangeflash, and me posting as of lately.

 

Its snowing up here a lot. Weather forecasts on my iphone says Friday is pretty clear. Hopefully its clear by then. Anyways, yeah, where is everyone? Chime in fella's and lets continue the list.

 

Yeah, we got close to a foot of snow here. It stopped snowing, but there's still a lot left, hopefully it melts away by tmrw night.

 

Nearly three feet up here. My gazebo is effn' ruined! Spent this whole morning plowing snow off my gazebo, ac/heater, and driveway.

Anyways, still iffy about tomorrow's meet. I might still be stranded, but we'll see.....hopefully it will be dry. Anyone else from Barstow coming down? Any more here in the HD?

 

i dont think i can move my z. I live on a dirt road and the whole 1/8 mile of it is mud and snow.

 

yeah i never seen it this bad in the 16 years ive been up here and i left my g in the driveway tuesday night it got tottaly pwoned by the snow
