Hey guys, I'll be gone for the next two weeks bc I just got a job as a role player at Fort Irwin Army base. Basically me and quite a few other guys dress up as Iraqi folk and walk around and bs at some place built to resemble an Iraqi town. It's supposed to help train the soldiers stationed here that are deploying to the actual Iraq soon. But walking around for 15 days and getting paid what I would normally make in 3-4 months, maybe I can finally get some mods for the Z, LOL.

Its a good thing I didn't go last night. I was about to, but the Lakers were playing

Anyways, about your next project, how about an S-Chassis (240)? You can buy a built one that's show ready capable for around $5k.....+ mods for them are cheaper than for a Z? I miss my 240.....both of them

You guys know anyone local with a lift? I got some new toys I can do the job its just a safety issue. I know people use jack stands, but my wife's a RN and I'm horrified by some of the stories she's told me about cars falling on people. I know it won't fall on me with all the support of jack stands but its stuck to my head and I'm not comfortable being under my car while trying to shake loose bolts

Looks good. Don't you feel so much better about your car? What a world of a difference a drop can do

I was thinking of going there, but they are always backed up and I will never leave my car at a shop. Some people drop it off for a couple days and pick it up later......yikes! I've been around a lot of shops, even very reputable shops and cars that sit become tool cabinets, coat hangers, magazine stands, dust collectors, etc. I've been around this stuff way too much lol.
