Um. You spend most the time taping off your paint job (i.e. headlights, windows, designs, etc) then you just spray it with polycarbonate spray paint (I buy the Tamiya brand made for RC car shells.) Then I use curved scissors and a hobby knife I got at the rc/hobby shop to cut the wheel wells and along the bottom of the car. Then I use a body reamer to make perfect circle holes for the posts to clip the body onto the chassis.
Was a fun project my first time. Now I'm getting more adventurous with the paint jobs.

Here's my drift RC...
It's a Associated Electric TC3 w/ a Yokomo Z33 body w/ some Speedwaypal lights.
If you guys have some time on April 14, there will be a RC drift competition at Autobacs which should be pretty fun to watch.

I dont have any Overheating issues, I drilled holes in the windshield to help keep it cool, and I also cut a decent hole in the roof so that I can use the glow plug heater without taking the body off. The Nitro car is getting to be a HUGE pain...it takes so much to keep it running, and its kind of messy...I wish I would have went with an electric. Is there anywhere good around the SD area to run the cars? My car needs a REALLY smooth, and clean surface because it rolls pretty easy.

My buddy and I went to the rosebowl parking lot to make a few runs. Did you try upgrading the suspension so the roll would be minimized. They sell sways, springs, shocks.
