Well they drift great on smooth surfaces, but I can manage on asphalt as long as it isn't horribly rough.

Prices are around $400 for 'Ready-to-Drift' kits.

I got my TT-01 as a gift and I've dropped a cool $400-500 in it already.

Do you use the pvc pipes for drifting or by the actual drift tires? haven't tried drifting yet on my rc most of the set up is for grip driving.

Most hooby shops can get it. If you need right away hobbypeople are always stocked. I personally go to smith brother's in northridge or hobbypeople.

I bought a set of the drift tires (some competitions require 'em) but for everyday drifting I make my own outta black ABS pipe from home depot. They sell 3 foot pipes for $1.50. That gives me over 4 sets of 4 drift tires for a little more than a dollar!
