our family owns apartments in Los Angeles and since some of our knucklehead tenants didnt want to dispose of some junk that was in the garage car port area we received a city order to remove and clear out the junk....
anyway i ended up putting a broken treadmill, some tires, broken chairs and various other junk in front of the property and within 10 minutes later, a dood came by to scope out the stuff and 2 minutes later a truck comes up and loaded everything and boned out
reminded me of crackhead Ezelle from the movie Friday stealing all the girls clothes in front of Ms. Parker's house
couldnt find the damn video where Ezelle steals the clothes but heres a flashback

not just LA man... in berkeley too [or any college town i'm sure] the best way of getting rid of ANYTHING is putting it outside. i'm talking about anything from food to furniture to decorations.... i got rid of a LOT of junk when i was moving back to LA by just setting it on the sidewalk outside my apt... and then i'd watch people walk by and evaluate and take stuff, and i'd feel sad
