first one... traveling on the 134e...kind of.. right where the 2s splits off from the 2n at the 134 interchange. the dude stopped right in the middle with a cop blaring lights and sirens behind him...eeks.
second one.. on 2n after mountain, closer to where the 210 is... cop with no lights in that pitch black area.. .i was a bit behind him and all of a sudden he turns on his hazards and pulls over quickly to help someone stopped by the side. whewww.
oh yeah, off the lowell exit in la crescenta.. saw a third one waiting, facing lowell on altura on the west side, waiting for his order of a california roll, i guess....
damn, 3 in one night on a drive where i RARELY see cops

uhh have one, thanks. cops dont always have their radars on.
the second guy flicked his on whe i was a couple hundred feet behind him.. by then i'd slowed down enough

these may be effective wtih CHP cruisers since they use radar, but the city traffic officers on motorcycles use laser. Any radar detector is worthless because it will not detect till the cop actually shoots your car with the laser.

Are you sure he wasn't targeting you but let you go because you weren't speeding excessively? A cop wont target cars in a group, but they look for singled out cars because that shows they are speeding ahead of the last group of cars from a previous stop light? Also, If i were a cop and i'm selecting which cars to target, If i saw a Z singled out in a group i would most definately trap his speed. Just a thought. I'm not trying to be confrontational or debate with you so don't get me wrong. But just a thought.

As for hideouts. The CHP station is up on De Soto, I see a few chillin in the parking lot and wait for passersby to get them.
Also have seen then at Nordhoff and Mason area where the street curves, late at night when I worked at blockbuster I could see a few sitting in the darkness, waiting on prey....
