Default question.....about rattle? leak?

Ok. My exhaust set up is, strup non res tp, nismo y pipe back exhaust. i did not have this "rattle" (leaking sound) when i had stock y pipe and stock exhaust with the strup TP. The started hearing the rattle after i installed the nismos ONLY AT 2300 rpm. i thought it was rasp from tp, and thought it was normal. however, as time went by, 2-3 weeks? the "rattle" went down to 2000 rpm. So it would only "rattle" at 2000 rpm, not at 2300 rpm anymore. Now, about 2 weeks after that, my whole range from idle - about 3.5 is "rattling", Im pretty sure its still rattling after 3.5rpm, but i just cant hear it cuz my exhaust is so loud. I remembered i used used gaskets to install the tp and nismo, so I thought it was going to be either cracked tp or worn out gasket. I took my stock cats to the muffler shop today and put it on a lift, to see if the tps were cracked, or where the "rattle" was coming from. As soon as he lifted it up, i noticed the flex points were scraped up... The muffler man told me it was coming from the y pipe... what do u guys recommend me to do? Put on stock y-pipe, or repair the flex part of the nismo?? How do you guys think the stock y pipe will sound with my current set up? Thanks for reading.

my y pipe does the same thing. i scraped it up so bad it makes that ugly sound u're talking about. best thing i think u should do is get another after market y pipe. but if u decide to put back on your stock y pipe. nothing will change really. the sound would quiet down a little but not much since u still have your TP's running.

yea it will sound a lil quieter. i'm running my stock y pipe for almost a yr now after my previous ones cracked due to excessive back pressure from nismo exhaust
