Default oil change at corner3

I just recently talked to Nima through email about oil changes, and he told me that they use 76 synthetic blend oil with the oem nissan oil filter. Does anyone have any experience with 76 synthetic blend oil? I've always used Mobil 1 in my past cars. I'm heading over there tomorrow for my oil change so hopefully it's good stuff.

It's crazy how fast Corner3 replies to your emails. They also answer all your questions just like how everyone else says.

+1 for Corner3 Garage

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just go with their oil and filter. Can't beat the price anywhere else. Thanks again.

i doubt there's any problem going from mobil 1 to other synthetic blends. when you're there at corner3, ask steve. he'll tell u more in detail im sure.

also, dont forget to congratulate nima... he's getting married in a few months. =)

I found the european 0W-30 at Autozone for $6 a quart. Car runs well. I also went from Mobile1 synthetic to Castrol, again no issues.

glad you had a great experience. steve and nima are awesome.

they truely are one of the very few shops that have our (the customer's) best interest in mind.

Corner 3 are really good guys. I checked them out too and I really like the shop. Unfortunately like Arc said, they do charge significantly more for some things like installs on parts, but if you can afford it, they really do care for your car and make their work on your car very accessible to you.

I wish their prices were more competitive because I would have liked to take all my stuff to them but I understand if they didn't charge what they do as a smaller independant business they would go out of business because its a one man show there with Steve doing all the substantive work on cars.

I completely disagree about corner 3 charging more than other places. They charge about 1/2 the price of other places. You really have to go in person, rather than getting a quote over the phone.

Corner3 has def been a blessing I would recommend them to anyone...prices are very reasonable as well - steve is very practical and has tons of knowledge w/ the VQ - you won't be dissapointed.

their standard rate is $37.50 for every 1/2 hour... which is reasonable. (i.e. nismo exhaust install = $75) not the cheapest of course; i've seen cheaper, but not by a considerable amount.

peace of mind, well-done job, and honest service.... I truly don't mind paying extra 10-20 more bucks an hour for those.
