Default Age to rent a hotel / suggestions in Anaheim for Disneyland trip?

I was planning on going down to So-Cal this weekend with my gf for a small disneyland trip.

Only problem I can think of is that I am 18 and might not be able to check in at some hotels due to my age. I wanted to stay at a economic hotel, as we'd only stay for friday night, goto disneyland all day saturday, and then return to stockton that night.

Can anyone recommend a hotel in that area that would allow someone my age to check in and stay there thats around the $100-150 / night range?

Thanks.

-James

Check motel 6...i guess its not a hotel, but a motel lol. Check on their website I think it tells you the check in age. Try radisson too, theyre pretty decent for the price. Im pretty sure the one in newport beach is 18, not sure about any near aneheim.

Are you sure you want to drive home the same day? Ur gonna be exhausted. A whole day, especially this weekend at Disneyland is gonna take its toll on you.

there's lot of choices but if u want to stay from walking distance from disneyland, then there's lot of hotels/motels on Harbor blvd. like best western, tropicana, etc. i used to work there. im set to goto disneyworld in FL in late June. have fun.

My major question, will I have much trouble getting checking in being 18?
I saw spiders response, but can anyone else confirm that?

Honestly, it doesn't hurt to call and ask? I went recently in march to Disneyland and stayed at the Fairfield Inn(Marriot), which is right across from the main gate. They're quite a few hotels around but forgot the names. What I did was look up the nearest hotels in anaheim, disneyland and they'll give you the pricing or you could call them!

As for age, i'm sure you can if you have a major cc? i would recommend you to leave early sunday morning because you will definately be exhausted.

if you're over 18 and have a credit card with your name plus a valid license, you shouldn't have any problems.
to be on the safe side just call whatever hotel/motel you plan on staying at.

And you shouldn't have any problems if your gf is 18+ either. But you might get asked to show your IDs since you probably look young.

+3 on CC and ID....I rented many mo-mo's at 18 and had no problem. You need to call and ask when making the reservation.

...make sure you take advantage of the overnight stay with your GF!

I will rent a suite, and we can split the cost 3 ways. Sound reasonable?

When i had to fly down from OR to interview for jobs here I stayed at a Super 8 motel off Katella a block from Harbor. It's within walking distance and it was only like $60 a night. Not sure if that was a winter rate or anything though. Worth looking into. The room was decent but bare-bones.
