Overseas markets see lots of better cars than here in the states - and again, it's a nice car. I just think it's extremely overrated for the price it tries to commadeer in our market. Perhaps I've seen enough R32s, R33s, and R34s that it doesn't excite me, but the car is still antiquated compared to what's on the market nowadays...

It's human nature to want what you can't have. Or afford.

I remember reading an article on the R33 when they were out, the MSRP with the yen converted at the time was 45k. I'm sure the VSPEC and VSPECII are much more.

Yes you are correct, rev limiter kicked in at 8200rpm not 9k.

MOTOREX was importing them but was shut down because at the time no GT-R's were legal. The committed fraud and were forced to go bankrupt. The R32 is not legal only the R33 is.

i sold my R34 v-spec now, going to work with the Z, they're still awe inspiring cars though, even in Southern Africa, we have less than 10 running around in the whole region, between 7-8 countries and they're amazing cars, everytime i see one i miss my old one .
i hope a TT Z will be fun otherwise i'm reverting to GTR territory again!

You could have them done and made street legal. My brother's R33 was street legal and had all the papers to prove it...
