need a little help.

I will be in Orange County 6/14-6/15 for business and my brothers graduation in Irvine. I was wondering if you guys/gals knew some cools places to go Thursday night? I am traveling by myself.

These places were suggested to me:
-Tentation Lounge
-Pierce Street Annex

have you heard of SUTRA?

 

Sutra is alright. I don't think it's anything to brag about, though.
$20 cover, ~$8 wells, I wasn't a fan of the music, good mix of crowd (age and nationality).

Laguna Beach has a decent bar scene with many bars being within walking distance from each other and lots of hot ladies. (try some of the bars on Ocean and PCH)

I saw you post about this on m3forum. As mentioned in that thread, if you're going to be in HB, there are a lot of bars down main street. Not really a fan of them though.

If you're just going to be here on wednesday and thursday, I'd check out cantina and woody's on wednesday. They're right next to each other and are located in newport. There are also a few bars within walking distance of these two.

For thursday, try sutra or chronic which is adjacent to it. (If I go to these places, it's usually fri/sat, but thursday should be decent). I haven't gone to sutra on thursday for awhile, but last summer or fall it was pretty good. Sutra has it's moments as it's a bit more posh and high class, but can have a bit of an older crowd depending on the night. I prefer chronic which is right next to it. Overall, I find the atmosphere at chronic more chill and down to earth compared to sutra.

These places are mostly a "white" crowd. As mentioned on m3forum, if you prefer asian girls, maybe check out sharks or tentations. Tentation is mostly a mixed crowd and I think they play mostly house music on thursdays, but not sure. The other places have more hip-hop based music. Oh and if you go to tentation, check out the sushi at Ten beforehand. If you like mexican or latina girls, there are a few places I can think of, but they're not in orange county.

Oh and the bars by the pier in Hermosa are good on thursday.
