I was wondering if any one (in San Diego) got their window grease issue taken care of yet? I keep asking Mossy and they don't seem to have any info regarding the TSB's for this problem. Thx.

I just went in for an oil change at Kearny Mesa last Friday, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle to ask about the window grease problem yet. I do have a slight oil leak in my left valve cover that is to be fixed as soon as they get the part in, so maybe I'll ask about the window TSB when they call to schedule the valve cover fix.

 

Escondido Mossy. I am taking it in tomorrow for the 1st oil change as well and wanted to get it done at the same time. That reminds me... I am gonna have them check for leaks as well. I still seem to have the burning smell. But, don't see any leaks.

You might wanna ask them now about the TSB just in case there's a kit involved. So, they can order it now and have it done at the same time as your oil leak. I am not entirely sure there's a kit though ... just what I read on the board.

 

I checked this morning @ Mossy (Escondido) and they had the kit for the window grease problem. I couldn't get it done yet since I didn't have time.

 

I dont know whats up with this window grease thing. I get some on the windows every now and then, and I just wipe it off with some windex. They have to be cleaned all the time anyway.
