Anybody Hang/Install Chandeliers? (Socal)
Does anybody here hang/install chandeliers or know somebody who does for a reasonable price? I bought my mom 2 chandeliers last December and the guy who was installing floor tiles/doing the kitchen counters was supposed to hang them but never did.
Anyways, please write here or PM me if you or someone you know can put up chandeliers. Basically need to remove what's there and install the new ones.
Thanks!

It's easy enough for you to do. They are usually supported by a chain that is screwed onto its top base which is screwed or nailed to an upper frame support. All you need to do is, turn off the electricity, remove current chandelier from its base and unfastend the electrical connection. Repeat in opposite order and your done.
A key note is to temporary hang the chandelier from the ground wire while you bolt everything up! It really is simple! Good luck.

I'm sure it shouldn't be all that hard. I replaced ceiling fans before and it is fairly simple. However, the chandeliers are hung from high/vaulted ceilings, and there's no way I trust myself on a ladder!

Sure I guess you could, but I probably can't attempt it myself since the ceiling is like 30 feet high. I don't have a ladder that goes up that high, and even if I did, I wouldn't try balancing myself up there!
