NASA to try for 3:49 p.m. ET shuttle landing in California


do if you guys here a crazy double boom, don't freak out. its just the shuttle's nose and tail breakin the sound barrier..

Yeah, weather never cooperates in Florida on returns haha. Edwards is always the safe bet on re-entry- plus the ridiculously long runway makes for a less stressful landing.

I was in Ft. Lauderdale when it took off...It was nuts how fast that thing was going up in to the sky and how well I could see the flames out the back given how far away we were. Would have been cool to listen for the booms.

man the last time i heard i boom from a shuttle it blew up ....I had pieces of it in my back yard to!! It was insane sounding
