Default Who will tune my Z in Socal!?

Will anyone in the inland empire tune my N/A Z? Want a reputable place that is why Im asking, Is there anyone in the Socal are that has done this? I here and read that it is a VERY good mod to do.

Do I have to purchase a UTEC then get it tuned? Or do I just take it in and they do there magic. Not sure how this process actually works or how much it costs. I know utecs normally run like $800+

Thanks

GT Motorsports in Rancho Cuacamonga. The BEST.

Just take your Z in with cash in hand. They sell, install, and tune UTEC.
How modded is your Z? If you just have a few bolt-ons it's not worth
all that money for UTEC+tune.

GT motorsports is the best imo, but if your in a rush then dont even bother.
Because they are the best, you'll have to wait in line.
Church auto does great tuning, they tune for dealerships like toyota, but i dont think they do installs.

If you're staying NA and ae not going to be constantly adding more bolt-ons, UTEC is overkill, IMO. Just go to Technosquare in Torrance and get the reflash; I did and it was well worth the $600. If you're going to mod more, do that first, then go, otherwise you'll need tp flash again after more mods are added ($150), but you'd need another dyno tuning session with a UTEC is such a case as well. UTEC is goo if you are FI, constantly tweaking or like to have different maps for different configurations, gas, etc., but if you just want a "set in and forget it" optimal tune to what you have, reflash is the way to go.

This is the best advice I see so far. UTEC is much more a forced induction item. Also, you can screw your car up if you don't know how to use a UTEC. Do your mods and then let technosquare reflash for you. Remember, your ECU loves to ignore none factory inputs.

Give us a call at the shop or send me a PM with your mods/goals and we can find out what is best for your current situation.

Good luck and take care!

Well what about the uni-chip? Is that worth it or still better getting a flash?

so you recommend first finishing the mods then a tune. For right now I have the nismo catback and crawford headers. I am leaving the stock intake but haven't done the motordyne spacer but don't plan on doing that for the next few months but I don't want my car running too lean at this point. Is it ok for now though and get it done later?
