saw one this morning at the dealership. it's actually a base coupe with nismo exhaust, body kits, upgrade suspension. and selling for $38.000

It's actually a Enthusiasts model with all that stuff upgraded that you can't get in the aftermarket. It is well worth the 38k.

Oh? TCS only? If it's got VDC, then it's an upgraded Track model (which I figured it would be... Brembos, GT/Track rims, cloth seats, no Bose or nav and since they dropped the Track model for '07). Man, I'd kill for that seam welded chassis, extra bracing and dampeners.

Yeah, I saw that vid; pretty good. Yeah, according to Nissan's site, it doesn't have VDC. Intresting. Makes sense as a more track-oriented car, I guess; I just figured it'd be the equivalent to an upgraded Track model. I'd still call it a Track with body/chassis upgrades and no VDC as opposed to an Enthusiast with upgrades since it has the Track wheels and brakes already.

The wheels IMHO are actually the GT wheels.
