Bums are getting creative
I was at Laguna Beach over the weekend and saw a bum with a sign that said, 'you can slap me for $20' I was very tempted, but prolly would've slapped his face off to emergency room, cuz I would've got my moneys worth
I prolly would've done it if I had my vid cam.

I was walking down the steet to a party with a few buddies. We had 2 cases of beer with us and some bum walked up and asked if he could have one, so we opened one of the cases and gave the man a drink!
ah hahahaha. I seen a bum one time while I was in Portland. Here is the story. Coming off the highway and seen a guy holding a huge peice of cardboard with his head stuck through the middle. Thought it was some lib with a message so I honked and he turned around. The sign read: "Try to hit my face with quarters"
I NEVER hand out money to bums but this guy almost got a buck than I just laughed and drove off.

berkeley's known for it's insane bum community....the street kids always had signs like 'need money for weed' and crap, but the best was the Joke Man... he had a cardboard box made like a tv that he'd put over his head, and for any amount of money he'd "turn on" [the tv] and tell jokes. always had great bizarre outfits on, too.
aw i miss my bum friends in berkeley.... there were some crazy people but some of them were totally cool. and if you were good with the bum population, they had your back if it came to anything. i had a on-campus job that had me working pretty late into the night so i felt way safer walking around the streets knowing the bums were there. strange, huh? i was more afraid of the frat boys than the homeless people.

anyone here ever hear of something called bumvertising?
It's actually a smart way for the homeless to make money... this dude in Seattle with a poker website went around and had the bums with the signs include his website on them and he would pay them. It was a great idea.

i actually saw an african american bum... didnt look asian AT ALL... holding a sign saying "im hungry, please help." IN KOREAN!! i gave him like 2 dollars and asked him how he wrote korean... i already knew the answer because this was in koreatown, some korean probably helped him out.. but his answer was "im half korean n*gga, can you give me any more?" i shook my head and drove off.
