Alternative Motoring is back finally and the first private Drag event will be held on 9/21 at AAA Drag Strip in Fontana
you can sign up here:

since it looks like I might be able to keep my Z after all I will take advantage of this.
there's room for 100 cars, so far 37 have signed up, it's a hundred dollars for pretty much as many runs as you want. I have done over 30 there at past events.
Hope to see some z's there

Can you go there anytime after your registered or do you have to be there at 8am for tech?
Did you stay until 5pm to get your over 30 runs in?
I've posted this on g35driver and a couple of us F/I Gs' will be going in october when it's a little cooler out. So far there are 3 of us going for now myself, hexxum, and dsportg35.
I think you and dsport would be a good race built aps against built jwt.
I would love to have another F/I shootout if possible.

It's been 2 years since I went to those private events, I believe that you can arrive a little later and still get your car inspected at tech. However, you might want to check since AAA sponsors the dragway.
Because the event is limited to 100 cars, you literally can run hot laps. Usually, after 10 runs you'll have more than enough for the day. There isn't really any group calls, you just line up and run. Frankly, you can run more than 30 times, but I think you might want a cool off period before the next run.
