I probably just got lucky at Nisei with the first place though since some of the more riceier cars supposedly didn't enter that were there. Since I don't have crazy paint or put stickers all over my ride, I probably don't have a chance in hell of winning anything at Hot Import Rice. Plus it's all who you know anyway.

I talked to one of the judges today who judged Nisei and in his opinion, there wasn't much special there at Nisei.

 

Tech, BS aside your car hands down is the cleaniest and pls. don't you ever put stickers or do a crazy paint Unfortunately shows like these looks for stickers and crazy paint/widebody/nasty bodykits etc. is what will get you the best of show awards Looking at your pics you have all the $$$'s MODS and everything is done nice and clean.

BTW: They don't put you in a bad spot if you enter late that's why you roll in on time to get the best spot. O.k enough a$$ kissing but your car still sexy.

 

Thanks, I really appreciate the nice words. I try to use the best stuff for my car. My goal is a full mag feature, but I'm afraid that I'm wasting time since lesser cars get in mags and I can only assume it's who you know not how nice your car truly is.

 

BTW, I just checked the HIN site and the registering is closed.

 

Should be fun, I've never been to HIN so it's something new to me. Plus I'm going there with no award expectations, just going to have a good time and represent for the SoCal Z's.

Daniel, Mel's car is still in the shop till thursday night so......it's up to him I don't know what city you guys live but I'm in West Covina. Let me know what city you guys live so we can fairly set up a meet place for the roll in.

Got a call tonight and the car should be done tomorrow... so no problem with the caravan on Fri. I get out of work at 4:30pm is that cool or too late for you guys?

 

Mel, if we roll in around 4:30p they might put our cars outside (might run out of space) lol the earlier the better if possible brother.

BTW: Did you paint the whole car?

I just repainted the front and rear bumpers. They also put on a spray on clearbra that I'll be testing in the next few months since I drive 100 miles a day... to and from work. I felt it on the owners car, it has a rubbery feel to it but there's no clearbra line, and it protects my entire bumper even the inside of the 3 openings.
