DEFINITION OF A CAR MEET
Steph why are you being SOOO POUTY!!!
Definitition of a classic CAR MEET
1. Meet other enthusiastic owners of the car you own.
2. Show off modifications that you have made to your car and give other people ideas for what to do.
3. Go for a spirited drive in some canyons, windy roads, or very straight roads for high speed runs.
4. Mingle with the other owners to see what they are planning to do and just chit chat.
So most of our meets we do 1,2,3,4.
We have gone beyond 1,2,3,4 and done other things like clubbin, dinner, and now VEGAS. That's more than most car clubs do.
As for the So-Cal people that currently come to meets, NO ONE has any modifications!!!! It's like visiting a freaking dealership. BTW there are some folks who start a thread and don't show up to there own meets... BullishZ I ain't letting you live that down.
And yes people who arrange meets ie me have been late to there own meets... but it all worked out.
I think the most modified car I've seen is John350z at a Z Nationals Socal meet.
The guys that have the modified cars in Socal don't come out. Jimster, Pheez and z461 for example.
Now you have the SD guys with all the same mods... It's like freaking Lemmings... march the beat... TEIN... TEIN... TEIN... TEIN... oh wait sorry this is not a cult... hahah.. But the San Diegan always are part of some kind of cult... it must be the fumes from all those closed miltary bases...
Personally I think if people decide to carpool to Vegas in an SUV, Stratus, or even a minivan that's fine. We are all grown ups. We don't have anything new to show on our cars anyways. We meet up so often anyways. We are going to hang out together as friends.
It would be another thing if we included the LAS VEGAS people or Phoenix people and made it a bigger meet and people did not show up with their Z's... But this meet is more go and party like it's 1999.. oh wait we past that year 4 years ago...
That's my buck fifty... oh wait sorry this is not a Massage parlour..
Here's my two cents...

You know, I started THAT thread. And I got a couple responses. But YOU (Bobowah) were the one that PICKED the place and the TIME... I only started the thread. I mean, was it so detrimental that I didn't show up cause something happened?
I don't know about you, but all the other 25 year old people I know go out, get drunk once in awhile... and that means a CRAZY hangover. I replied to the thread and APOLOGIZED. Now what's the ****ing big deal that you can't drop the issue and move on?
Tell me... why did you bring it up... AGAIN ?

Took this from the Vegas Roll Call thread:
So it looks like Iris and Mike are driving the highlander and Sean is riding with them. And Dan, it looks like you thought about it for awhile. Sorry bro....couldn't let you get away that easy.
Jeff...that was good sh*t bro. But the daygo guys are not lemmings man just because we all have the same suspension. I'm getting different rims!!!

3. Taking the Highlander. Kaiser is in for one of the carpool spots (he asked at Chillers). There is room for at least 1 more, and possibly 2 although it may be a long drive and that's a lot of body contact. I know you guyz are all good with that though.

You're taking the Highlander? Hmm, to drive or not to drive. I can do without the mileage but I want to hit that 150+ mph. Let me know before you give out that spot please.

So, originally this was supposed to be a Vegas run. Did it turn into a so cal meet instead? I'm upset that no one will be driving their Z's to Vegas. If that's the case then I will carpool as well. The question is will you be taking the Z or not?

I'm just there to hang with you folks and to be in Vegas for the first time single to mingle (which will be odd).
Saving my mileage for Palomar and other windy roads which beckon on the weekends.

I brought it up again.. b/c it stuck in my mind that at the OZ33 meet even SnoopyZ said... ah he won't show up.
Yes people do get get trashed and have hangovers, however after iris' hubby is gone clubbing event... hfm, iris and kaiser23 showed up tired and a bit hungover for a Latigo Canyon run even earlier than the OZ33 meet.
DAWG just live it with. Are you trying to keep some image or something? We know who you are.

So you KNOW me? I've only met you once. And you really KNOW me? I am sorry if it made such a big impact in your life that I didn't show up to the meet... but it gets LAME and ANNOYING when people KEEP bringing it up.
Also, yes, Iris, Kaiser, and HFM came to the meet the day after the clubbing... however... I don't think they were "TRASHED" by any sense. They all DROVE home that night. I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about, but I was ****ED up... good ol' FRAT style. I passed out. Get it? Too difficult for you to fathom?
Actually DAWG, YOU live with it. I didn't show up cause I had a circumstance. And I apologized for it. So live with it and move the **** on.
And trying to keep an image?!?! Where the **** did that come from?
