HELP!!! Need racing gear
So i WAS going to famoso tomorrow for the last track event of the year but it turns out that i cant even run cause im estimating low 12's and with my nitrous i have to have all this stupid gear! I need a SNELL or 6SFI approved Helmet for one... I also need a SFI 3.2A/1 racing jacket... AND... SFI 3.3/1 racing gloves. i was just informed of this today and im going crazy trying to find out where i can get all this stuff locally. I would go buy it tomorrow if i knew where to go and it wasnt to far but the problem is i cant find anything i need.... The helmet and gloves may not be as much of a problem, but the jacket is the huge thing i need. so if anyone can please help me out in finding these things or any info at all i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

Helmets are easy to come by. The jacket and gloves could prove more difficult. Have you ever run a 12 before? Also, I have never heard of needing gloves or a jacket at those types of speeds.

Hopefully this doesn't come out the wrong way or rude. But as the previous person stated, have you ran 12's? Based on your sig I highly doubt you'll hit the low 12's or any trap speed/time that will require all those items.
If anything, they will only require a helmet because you ran faster than a 13.99. If you were to break, say a 12.0, I would be more worried about a mandatory roll cage than trying to find a jacket.

As far as I'm concerned hatchbacks only require a safety release valve with a blow-down tube. Unless they have changed this rule in the NHRA tracks/rule book in the last month???? I would advise looking up the guidelines for the track if you haven't raced there before.
In regards to hitting low 12's, my assumption is that you haven't done so but expect to do it. If you do, feel free to post the slip.
I'm not trying to bash you, so if you can accomplish those times with only the mods you have listed, more power to you. Unfortunately there have been numerous people (both members and non) who think they have a "9 sec car" but get an uncomfortable taste of reality when they hit the track and can barely break into the 13's, if that.
Good luck at the track.
