Sure, RIP. But I'm not going to be generous with my sympathy in this case, because he flipped his car. The typical case I imagine would be him rear ending her, swerving onto the sidewalk and striking a pole, or swerving into another lane and hitting another car. But flipping it? Come on.
Just imagine if your friend told you this story, "I was driving one day, and this lady cut me off! I slammed on my brakes and jerked my steering wheel without thinking to avoid her, and I accidentally flipped my car." Now wouldn't you be curious about how fast he was going? Like I said, people get cut off all the time, but how often do people flip their cars when it happens?
Also just because his mom says he's calm and responsible doesn't mean he didn't have a little rush of youth. Everyone does things they regret.
