Exclamation Help - Burnt smell

recently, there's burnt smell coming from my engine bay after driving. I revs around 4000-5000rpms. anyone knows what happen. mine is the victim of oil consumption problem. Is it the reason??? I checked dip-stick. looks fine to me and I just had a oil change last month with around 2000miles on it!!!

Maybe it could be your clutch burning if it is wearing out, or there is a small amount of oil that got spilled on your engine, which could smell like burning.

My issue awhile back was a plastic grocery bag that had melted itself to my exhaust. It's easy to run them over and it's even easier to rule out so I would recommend taking a quick look.

You can burn out your clutch in a few thousand miles if you really abuse it.

If you ride the brakes or clutch you might be smelling either.
