Mission Beach/La Jolla Shores
In response the the recent Corona Del Mar meet, I would like to purpose a potential meet in the Mission Beach/Bay or La Jolla Shores area. I left out Pacific Beach due to the the pathetic parking situation. I know there is an area on Mission Bay that we can all park out prized possessions..OR, we can go to the La Jolla shores (not to sure about the parking situation, but it's close to my house :-)
Anyway, we can barbeque and do whatever all day, then after we finish, we can go to my house an play pool , barbeque again , or do whatever. I live on a dead end so all veh's will be safe (except for butterflys big *** SUV) I'll supply the beer/hot dogs/hamburgers.

Anyway, that's my purposely, you guys/girls decide which you would like better..... Mission Bay or La Jolla shores..
If your all up for this, lets discuss potential dates..

Keep this thing posted!
I'm at the verge of purchasing a Z.
I want to roll by for like a half hour and check out all the potential colors in person.
Leaning towards super black, but its always nice to consider all the other colors in person.

OK, June 21st it is, now we gotta agree on location. Yea, La Jolla does have a better view, but the Parking lot I have in mind is in Mission Bay.. The lot I have in mind will also be within eye distance from where we will be hangin out. ( Gotta keep an eye on the Z ).

So it comes down to priority, nice view at La Jolla Shores less a good parking spot ,OR, Still a pretty good view (especially of our Z's
) at Mission bay. Either way , we're all getting sun. And of course the grand finale at my house...... a Pool tournament

Do any of you want to combine a run with this meet?
Today I experimented with another run that turned out to be pretty nice. It starts from the 5 freeway exiting either Lomas Santa Fe or Via De La Valle. From there hit the S6, around Lake Hodges. A quick hop on the I15 to Highland Valley past the 67 to Wildcat Canyon Rd. The run ends at I8. From there we can meet up at Mission Bay for lunch and some R&R.
S6 is more of a cruise.
Highland Valley is way tight and fun.
Wildcat is fast and curvy.
Total time 1.5 hours. Pretty quick.
Any thoughts?

If we go to Mission Bay, there is more parking. If we go to La Jolla Shores, there is a better view.
